1854-O $3 AU53 NGC. Variety 2, which is from the same die pair as Variety 1, but with lapping evident on the reverse. The 1854-O is the only New Orleans issue in the entire series, and it is highly sought-after as such. A low mintage of 24,000 coins makes it all the more desirable. Partial satin luster remains throughout the straw-gold surfaces. Lightly abraded.
