A Pair of Late 19th Century/ Early 20th Century Part-Upholstered Deep-Seated Armchairs , with feather-filled cushions, on square tapering forelegs with brass-capped feet and Howard & Sons castors, the rear legs stamped Howard & Sons, Berners Street and indistinctly numbered 75cm by 74cm by 77cm Arm supports with some slight movement, otherwise, the chairs are structurally sound. Fairly comfortable. Upholstery has wear mainly around the verso and the corners of the back supports. One chair has further wear around the arms with some small holes. Some small holes around the back supports also. Howard and Sons mark poorly struck, legs stained mahogany with signs of castors being previously removed.
