She worked during her lifetime as a painter, printmaker, illustrator, and art teacher in Boston and Wellesley. She studied art formally at The Pratt Institute, New York under Arthur Dow. She is remembered primarily for her wood blocks, most now lost or destroyed. She also did highly colorful paintings, called a Celebration on Canvas Overall size: 12 1/4 x 15 1/4 in.
