A PERSIAN SILK AND WOOL TABRIZ RUG, 20TH CENTURY, the crème ground with colorful intricately woven swirling floral vines surrounding a large central olive and claret ground floret issuing sixteen paisley petals and suspending stylized lanterns, within matching quartered paisley floret corners and enclosed by a broad teal ground band of star alternating shaped rectangular devices framed by mustard yellow ground trim of continuous deep and pale blue blossoming leafy vines. 19' 8" x 13' 2" Provenance: Collection of Karen Mudd, Woodlands, Texas. Condition: Some bleeding in areas throughout, some discolorations, a few small scattered spots, and has a decent low pile.
