Vorbild ist das von Gaspard DE CRAYER (1584-1669) gemalte Altarbild für die Kirche der Augustinnerinnen in Brüssel, welches sich heute im Kunsthistorischen Museum in Wien befindet. Neben Maria und dem Jesuskind sind die Heiligen Maria Magdalena, Cäcilia, Dorothea, Katharina und Augustinus abgebildet.

The model is the altarpiece painted by Gaspard DE CRAYER (1584-1669) for the Church of the Augustinians in Brussels, which is now in the Kunsthistorische Museum in Vienna. Beside of Mary and the infant Jesus, the saints Mary Magdalene, Cecilia, Dorothea, Catherine and Augustine are depicted.
