A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER AND OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE THREE-LIGHT CANDELABRA,  by Matthew Boulton, Birmingham 1802, each with circular base to tapering column, with campana-shaped sockets and twin branches, with gadrooned borders and engraved with armorials, loaded. 45.5cm high CONDITION REPORT Marks clear and well struck to foot rim of candelabrum, and to central detachable drip pan of each. Associated detachable upper three-arm section and other two detachable drip pans on each are all Old Sheffield Plate. Engraved with crest to foot of each candlestick, and with armorial to central candle holder and all six drip pans. Both standing upright, slight rocking to each foot. Candle holders to both sticks are misshapen to tops. Old Sheffield Plate worn and rubbed in places. Various dings, marks and surface scratches throughout commensurate with age and use
