The SD1 can be considered as the last "true" Rover, being the final Rover-badged vehicle to be produced at Solihull, as well as being the last to be designed largely by ex-Rover Company engineers and also the final Rover car to be fitted with the legendary Rover V8 engine. This Rover SD1 Vitesse is a rare and striking ‘twin-plenum’ example of the marque’s modern classic performance-oriented executive saloon, offered in highly original condition and, we believe, one of only 500 examples. It's powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V8 with a twin side-entry throttle plenum fuel injection system, producing around 200bhp and driving the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.Originally a Jersey-delivered model, the car has had three owners, and has been with the last owner for five years.
