A Pieter Visbagh Haagse Clock

Case is inlaid with ebony and tortoiseshell. This clock was bought by the van der Elst family in the 17th Century from the widow Visbagh. This beautiful timepiece was then passed on within the family to the eldest son, Marcel was born 1673, Joost 1703, Marcelis 1734, Albertus 1777, Pieter 1810, Pieter 1844, Jphannes 1888, Joost 1923 and Cornelis 1958. Including wooden case in which this clock is placed in the safe deposit box was kept.
