A George III Silver Tankard, by William and James Priest, London, 1765 baluster and on spreading foot, with reeded band, the hinged domed cover with openwork thumbpiece, the scroll handle with heart-shaped lower terminal 20.5cm high, 26oz 2dwt, 811gr Fully marked underneath and inside cover. The marks are generally clear. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are no signs of an erasure or thin area to the body. There has probably been initials erased from the handle.
