1927 Gwynne 10 1274cc 3 door tourer

1927 Gwynne 10 1274cc 3 door tourer In full working order and VSCC eligible Registration: SV 7022 Chassis: G10212 Odometer: 55,000 Transmission: Manual MOT: Exempt Guide  No reserve Outside Finished in a period colour of brown bodywork with black wings which suit the car very well. The paint is good though maybe a little dull and would benefit from a deep polish. There is no sign of rust and the only issues are some small chips on all four wings, a paint on the scuttle and some chips to the edge of the driver’s door. The wheels are in good order with a few chips and the tyres appear little used. The brightwork is Nickel plated and delightful though the paint on the lighting would benefit from touching in. The rubber covering on the running boards is without damage. The hood, side screens and full tonneau cover are without any damage though a little faded and would benefit from a treatment such as Renovo hood reviver which is a simple process. Inside The seats are good and in fine condition without issue. The door cards and carpets are without issue as are very good. The woodwork all appears without damage, chrome and dials excellent as is the steering wheel.  Mechanicals  The Gwynne starts readily and runs sweetly and emits a charming vintage exhaust note through its stainless steel unit. Driving around our yard, it performed well and with good brakes and easy gear changing. History Sadly we have no paperwork apart from a V5c and anecdotal information that it was exported to Australia when new then and it carries a Melbourne dealer plaque on the dashboard. Said to have been repatriated in the 1980s by the late Vintage car expert John Warburton.    Our Opinion This is an opportunity to enter the fabulous world of pre-war motoring with a very rare car at a modest outlay and due to its age , it is eligible for entry to the superb Vintage Sports car club and its plethora of events . We are advised by the vendor that this is the only 10hp in the UK.
