Lionel prewar O gauge Commodore Vanderbilt passenger set no. 274W, circa 1935 in individual OBs and set box. The set contains the following; 265E black 2-4-2 steam loco with original cardboard insert, 265W Lionel Lines tender, 602 baggage, 600 Pullman, 601 observation, 65 whistle controller with attached instruction card, box of connecting ties with a UTC lockon, instruction booklet and sheet and inspection tags. The loco and tender have all nickel trim. The cars are blue with aluminum roofs and inserts and nickel journals. The die cast cab on the loco is solid and intact. The paint on the loco and tender have a nice matte patina. The set has light run time and is C8. This is a very high quality matched original set. All passenger car boxes are stamped B. The individual OBs are missing some coupler flaps. The set box is complete with a fully intact label that has bright color graphics. This is a difficult set to find, especially in this high end condition.
