Erin-Marie Wallace is an experienced arts professional with an infectious enthusiasm for clients and collections. She holds a Master’s Degree in Fine and Decorative Art and Design from Sotheby’s Institute, London, is a licensed auctioneer and USPAP certified appraiser.
She thrives on knowledge and has had educational opportunities in Hong Kong and throughout the United States that include a Bachelor’s of Fine Art degree from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Her background also includes first-hand knowledge of graphic design, ceramics and most fine art mediums.
Ms. Wallace's career focuses on collection management and evaluation of fine and decorative art. Formerly the Director of the Fine Art Program for a nationally televised auction house, in addition to on-air presenting, she was personally responsible for all aspects of product management, cataloging and evaluation.
This prepared her for becoming a Florida Certified Auctioneer and co-founder of Rare-Era, a firm which focuses on buying and selling fine and decorative art at auction. She is the only Sotheby’s Institute, UK graduate in the United States to hold this distinction and accreditation. This was followed by becoming a Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) Compliant appraiser and receiving formal courses in The Museum System (TMS)for professional collections management.
One of her recent achievements was being asked to create online video instruction courses evaluating paintings, prints and drawings. These were filmed in the UK by MyAntiqueSchool.com, the world’s first online antiques & collectibles school.
These experiences ensure a comprehensive knowledge of art history and styles. She is a subject matter expert (SME) in fine art and ceramics and has coordinated private and public collections and advises collectors worldwide.
Rob Funk is a Business Development Executive and noted Public-Speaker with over 25-years’ committed to Sales & Marketing; generating over 200% of annual sales growth in successful promotions of new-products, and over $10M in Annual Quota attainment.
A former Corporate Vice-President he has organized several re-branding campaigns, developed 3 Start-ups and revamped 2 decades-old technology firms; his Sales-Management experience includes Strategic-Partnerships, Channel Distribution, and Marketing/PR. These professional-achievements have found him living-&-working within culture-capital cities of Miami / St. Petersburg / Tampa / Orlando / Tallahassee / Atlanta / Washington-D.C. / New Orleans / Houston / San Francisco / Los Angeles & Long Beach: and traveling as a contractual-consultant all over the country (he is responsible for bringing Rare-Era to it’s new location in the Washington, D.C. area; and our expansion into New York City in 2019).
