1935 $1 MS67 PCGS. No Peace dollar issue struck after 1925 is common in MS67, and most are unknown this fine, at least in PCGS holders. The 1935 Philadelphia issue is known in this lofty grade, but such coins are rare, with fewer than two dozen reported. A few of these top-grade coins have made occasional auction appearances in recent years, giving collectors the rare opportunity to acquire high-end Registry coins. This Superb Gem represents another such opportunity. The strike is bold, and satiny luster is apparently devoid of abrasions. Tan-gold toning over each side warms the eye appeal. Population: 16 in 67, 0 finer (6/23).
