It is a MkII (5th series), although fitted with a traditional grille rather than a recessed grille, which was fitted on models at the time. This vehicle is also fitted with later alloy wheels rather than the original Rostyle wheels.In 2001 the vehicle was given a full strip-down and nut and bolt rebuild. The engine and gearbox were rebuilt along with the running gear and suspension. The gearbox is with overdrive. The interior and exterior were fully refurbished and the vehicle was repainted in iris blue in tribute to the first MGB built in 1962. It has been owned by our vendor since 2010, where it has enjoyed occasional summer use. It has been MOT'd annually and fully garaged. Comes with two original tonneau.
