Republic Yuan Shih-kai Dollar Year 3 (1914) AU Details (Cleaning) PCGS, cf. KM-Y329, L&M-63 var. (this variety not listed), cf. Kann-648e, WS-0174-17. Fukien type. The first example of this rare provincial-minted subtype we have ever offered, and apparently one of only a very small number of representatives to come to auction in recent years. Unpublished in Lin and Ma's foundational catalog, while the issue possesses several variations from the Tientsin-minted issues, perhaps most distinctive is the style of the obverse calligraphy.
