1889-CC $1 AU50 PCGS. The 1889-CC is the scarcest of the Carson City Morgan dollars and is one of the two big key dates in the entire Morgan series. Although 350,000 pieces were struck, most of these coins circulated extensively in the Nevada territory. The date is elusive in AU condition and scarce in Mint State. This piece displays delicate tan-gold tinting with remnants of luster in the fields. Light abrasions and high-point wear define the grade.
