A polyfaced tureen
A polyfaced tureen, Chinese export porcelain, polychrome and gilt decoration "Peacocks", carved handles "Boar's heads", carved cover finial "Pomegranate", Qianlong period (1736-1795), body restoration, cover finial with small chips and minor faults on the glaze. Notes: decoration identical to one of the tableware that belonged to King D. José I and that King D. João VI took to Brazil, which was located at the Real Fazenda de Santa Cruz, Rio de Janeiro - vd.
